Chapel of Corpus Christi

The 1633 edition of Stow’s Survey of London describes the location and history of the Chapel of Corpus Christi, also known as the Chapel of St. Mary as such:
West from [the Counter (Poultry)], was a proper Chappell, called of Corpus Christi, and Saint Mary at Cony hope lane end, in the Parish of Saint Mildred, founded by one named Ionnirunnes, a Citizen of London, in the raigne of Edward the third. (Stow 1633, sig. 2A6r)
Stow further notes that the chapel was suppressed in the reign of Henry VIII (likely in the Dissolution of the Monasteries) and was purchased by Thomas Hobson, who repurposed the chapel into a fayre warehouse with shops toward the Street (Stow 1633, sig. 2A6r).
