Bowyer Row

Bowyer Row, according to Harben, ran east-west from Creed Lane to Ludgate (Harben). It was the unofficial yet descriptive name given to a section of Ludgate Street by early modern Londoners, so called of bowiers dwelling there in old time (Stow 1598, sig. T1v).
