Cloth Fair

Cloth Fair, as implied by its name, bears an innate connection to London’s mercantile culture. Henry A. Harben notes that it [d]erives its name from the clothiers and drapers who inhabited it in former times, and attended the famous Bartholomew Fair (Harben 154). The location itself was on the Fair Ground between Long Lane and St. Bartholomew the Great.
