Grantam Lane

Running parallel to Dowgate Street, Grantam Lane spanned north to south from Thames Street to the Thames. Stow notes a prominent brewery in the lane (Stow 1598, sig. N4r). By 1677, it came to be known as Brewer’s Lane (Harben).
