The Worshipful Company of Ironmongers
The Ironmongers’ Company was one of the
twelve great companies of London. The
Ironmongers were tenth in the order of precedence established in 1515.
The Worshipful Company of Ironmongers is
still active and maintains a website at http://www.ironmongers.org/ that includes a page on their history.
