Agas MapHenry Harben describes Oysterhill as being
in the parish of St. Magnus, adjoining Bridge streetGap in transcription. Reason: The text has been abridged or truncated by an editor for some reason.[…] Probably the lane leading up from the river from Oystergate and Old London Bridge and sometimes itself called(Harben 454). Victor Belcher and Martha Carlin note that Oysterhill was also known asOystergate
