(Stow 1:292). Milk Street, so
called as early as
(Bebbington 220).
Stow also notes that there bee many fayre houses for wealthy Marchantes and

(Stow 1:295). Milk Street was the home of
St. Mary Magdalene’s church, dating from the twelfth century, was located in
