Lady Elizabeth’s Men
Lady Elizabeth’s Men was a playing
company in early modern London. The group was formed
in 1611 and was named after Princess Elizabeth,
daughter of King James I and Anne
of Denmark. After she was crowned Queen of Bohemia in 1618, the company changed its name to the Queen of Bohemia’s Men.
