Grocers’ Company
Worshipful Company of Grocers
The Grocers’ Company (previously the
Pepperers’ Company) was one of the twelve
great companies of London. The Grocers were second in the order of precedence established
in 1515. The Worshipful Company of
Grocers is still active and maintains a website at http://www.grocershall.co.uk/ that
includes a history of
the company.
