The priory church of St. Bartholomew the Great is located in West Smithfield in Farringdon Without Ward. Specifically, so called of S. Bartholmews church, at the southeast corner thereof
(Stow 1598, sig. K7r) on the east side of this Ducke lane, and also of Smithfield
(Stow 1598, sig. X2v), and northeast of St. Bartholomew Hospital.
