Research Assistant 2020-present. Jamie Zabel is an MA student at the University of
Victoria in the Department of English. She completed her BA in English at the University
of
British Columbia in 2017. Her current research interests include 19th and 20th century
reception history specifically centering around Charles Dickens and J.R.R. Tolkien
and how
texts interact with their cultural contexts.
